At Louth Golf Club our junior golfers experience a fun, safe environment in which to develop their understanding of golf and the key skills to play the game.

We offer all Juniors thinking of taking up the game an opportunity to join our new to golf development programme without any commitment to being a member of our club.

In time, we hope new juniors enjoy their experience so much that they’d like to take their learning onto the golf course on a more frequent basis and join our growing junior membership section. We offer excellent subscription rates and benefits to support this step.

What We Offer

Our junior development programme is open to all non-members. Delivered by Professional Lewis Hackett the junior golf passport scheme provides a structure to the development of young golfers.

The programme suits children who’ve never played the game before and also those who’ve started in the game and are wanting to improve. The program provides parents with an opportunity to be engaged in their child’s golf development by helping their child keep their learning records up to date.

As part of this phase of their development, our junior golfers will experience time at our practice range, on our practice putting and chipping areas and, when they are ready, a little time on our golf course.

Junior Membership Subscription Rates

We are keen to grow our Junior membership section. Our junior Annual membership Rates are free for Under 11’s rising to only £55 p.a. for 11-16 year olds. Both categories do carry a £16 fee for English Golf Union & Lincolnshire County Union affiliation Fees.

Golf Sixes

This season we have taken the opportunity to enter a junior team in a new East Lincs Golf Sixes league. This is a perfect first step to introducing competitive golf to our young golfers who are working towards achieving their first golf handicaps. Playing just 6 holes of golf, in a team of 6, our young golfers compete against golfers of similar age and ability from 3 other local clubs at 8 Golf Sixes events over the season. Our young squad of max 12 young golfers are enjoying new experiences, playing different golf courses and making new friends.
